This potato puree recipe is easy and it's a great choice of meal when you want to get your baby started on solid foods, usually between 6 to 8 months old.

- 210 grams Potatoes
- water to cook
- melted Butter (5g)
- 50 ml breast milk/Formula
Wash the potatoes in water and peel the skin
Cut into cubes and set them in the pot to cook, pour the water over the potatoes
Cover to cook on low heat between 12-15 minutes. After then check with a fork if its well cooked.
Take them out from the water and marsh with a big spoon, a potato masher or a food processor. If you feel it's not soft or smooth enough, a little bit from the cooking water can be added.
Add the melted butter and whip it in the potatoes.
Allow cooling before its being served. It should not be too hot or too cold, it should be lukewarm.
50 ml of milk or baby milk may also be added to elevate the taste and make it richer.
Finish: Serve Potato Puree in bowls, topped/mixed with peas, green beans, carrot, or even chicken.
